Dr. Gene McDaniel D.O.
Dr. McDaniel went to NOVA Southeastern University in Davie, FL, and completed his family practice residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft Worth Texas. He has practiced in Springtown for over 20 years as an independent physician. Dr. McDaniel, his wife Yen and family reside in Springtown and are very active in their community. He was voted best doctor in Parker County in 2014-2021.
Debbie McDougall NP-C
Debbie received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science of nursing at Texas Christian University in 1990. She received her Masters of Science at Texas Woman’s University and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2003.
Her background includes Surgery, ER, Urgent Care, Women’s Health, Physical Exams including Sports and Band. Her professional affiliates include American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Texas Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau – Beta Alpha Chapter (Honor Society of Nursing), and Certified Bariatric Nurse 2016-2020.
Aimee Simington NP-C
Aimee obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington’s College of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Lamar University, a Registered Nursing Associates Degree from Navarro College and a License Vocational Nursing Certificate from Navarro College.
Aimee is also a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2001 specializing in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone Therapy and Trigger Point Massage. She no longer practices Massage Therapy regularly but does keep her license up to date.
Aimee’s nursing background in Medical Surgical Care, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Medicine and Gastroenterology give her a wide range of experience. Aimee trained with Dr. McDaniel in the Spring-Summer of 2018, then went on to practice in the specialty of Gastroenterology. She came back to Springtown Family Health Clinic in January 2021 to assist Dr. McDaniel with Family Practice specializing in Adult Chronic Care and Obesity Management. Her professional affiliations include American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioners.
Bobbie Deweese FNP-C
Bobbie started her Nursing career in 2012. She received her undergraduate degrees in Nursing from Tarrant County College and The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). Precepting with Dr. McDaniel in the summer of 2017. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from UTA in 2018.
She has worked in critical care, home health, surgical services, and primary care. She takes a holistic individualized approach when caring for patients, with evidence-based guidance. She empowers patients to take control of their health. As advised by Benjamin Franklin in 1736, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!”
